Oddly my old g35 would work with ps4 but no 7.1 and had to crank volume 100% to get moderate sound. The astro mixamp itself is the bread and butter of the astro headset. Honestly, I think audiophile headphones are normally a substantial leap over gaming headsets to my experience.
