"I Dream A World" was writen by a photographer who traveled the country interviewing women who he felt had successfully changed history by simply living the life that they loved, and loving the life that they lived. ! I abused the book, but I read each passage, not really understanding what each woman on each page had done for other generations black women. anyone looking for images of strong Black women.

It opens a window on Still the man as well as on Still the composer that offers important insights into the social milieu of this pioneering figure. As farfetched as this idea may seem, I believe that this world Hughes is speaking of can actually come to fruition. I dream a world where man I purchased this book when it was first published many years ago and ultimately began giving it as a gift to female friends of mine, particularly those who had young daughters.
