I was driving down the 22 Freeway near the 57 / 5 interchange at 9pm last night (6-9-18) and a Police helicopter was using their spotlight to pick out cars. Refresher training periodically refreshes pilots in initial training and special operations duties, skills and subjects. I am not certain but my brother just texted me to not go downtown for there is an active shooter there. Many suspects would not be captured without the assistance of the helicopter.
