I dominated him and immediately made him my bodyguard. you are meant to only control a few and infiltrate, not control the entire region, betryal rate skyrockets to try and force that on you. especially now after the most recent patch, rebellions will trigger when you control most/all of the orcs, which was basically chain betrayals. The first was a blood brother thing, which I get. In my experience, you need to interact with your orcs in the nemesis system, or they have a high chance of betraying you. I'd estimate approximately 15 so far. A hidden component of the Nemesis System, there is a chance for Orcs in your Army to betray you - even after you have Dominated them to your cause. Betrayals are ridiculously too frequent right now, I sincerely hope they patch it or offer a separate "difficulty" slide to control amount of betrayals. You do realise they have NATURAL REASONS to betray you? I have replied in so many threads like this one, but here i go again. I found this awesome orc that I was all kinds of excited to get. Perhaps. For the last two days 100% of the captains I've dominated have betrayed me. It's supposed to be interesting and unpredicatble. This is game breaking for me though. RNG has very little to do with nemesis system. As soon as the mission is over I'm thinking....let me guess....you're going to betray me. If you shame the betrayed uruk/olog there is theory it will improve rest of your followers loyalty but its not 100% clear, it is hinted during story playthrough though when celebrimbor mentions this. How the hell am I supposed to build an army when every single damn capatin I "dominate" turns against me? The first time I called him, he betrayed me. 90% of what I hear is "You're no fun" or "I'm tired of following you". I've killed plenty of blood brothers and never experienced a betrayal. There is hidden logic to why you get betrayed just like "blood brother" some uruks/ologs get triggered when you avoid combat with captains or if your bodyguard olog witnesses you to get downed by uruk they basicly give you a hint why they betrayed you.

I spend $60 on a ♥♥♥♥ing game that's ♥♥♥♥ing me over constantly. Nobody forcing you to listen to me. My gut is telling me it shouldn't work like this. If you've got a specific problem with me, just ignore me. My olog bodyguard saw me go in last stand state and after recovering from it he betrayed me and said "You are weak, i wont follow weak!" Then....wait for it...boom betrayal. It's supposed to add a twist to the game. A Captain's betrayal is not always telegraphed, but there are some events that can cause this to happen - though not always. I'm at a point where I just can't play this game any more.

Almost nothing stings as much as Betrayal in Mordor as it effects the player in Shadow of War. That's what holding me back from actually doing story quests. I am helping on all their quests. I know when something is wrong. Why I keep getting can not fast travel at this time. Orcs affected by Betrayal often gain the Iron Willed perk, and cannot be re-Dominated (but Shaming the target has a chance to remove this perk on the next encounter).
