Logitech G930 Headset - No Surround Sound - Windows 10 Hello All, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I have found that by Logitech G930 headset no longer has surround sound. I don't think I will be messing with the LOGITECH drivers again since I am not sure what I did to fix the issue. So, for everyone having similar headsets, the only workaround is trying to make these headphones work in stereo mode, but the only possible setting for mine ones is 7.1.

So basically I’ve been troubleshooting for 2 hours and the problem seems to be related to surround. If you have any chance to plug them with a 3.5mm jack, you will be able to select Stereo in the audio control panel, just right click and select “Configure speakers”.

If you pay attention, looks like every sound coming from the front channel is fading out and very low, and so are voices during the “Previously in Gears 4” thing and the ones coming directly from your character in game.

I was using a pair of Astro A40’s linked up to my computer using a 3.5mm jack but was having a problem with all the audio being crackly, like someone was running a fan over the sound. yep same issue i have the G935 and i can barely hear people talking unless i turn 1 ear to face the npc, every other game sound is loud. So yeah, you’re turning it off on the app but you still have surround in your headphones (as I said, I have the same problem with 5.1) that’s why you still have it.

Yeah that’s another issue and the solution is listed on the FAQ. Anywho, I think it is working in Surround again. And also let me choose my audio language in the settings. i have a logitech G933 Artemis spectrum headset and today the sound randomly stopped working on it idk why, i know its not the headset speakers because i can hear when the headphones turn on the startup sound. I think this “bug” is Gears related. I also updated the firmware and reinstalled the Logitech Gaming Software.

Logitech G933 is one of the most popular and economic headsets out there which doesn’t compromise in quality while also being budget friendly. I can’t use surround at all, i also can’t change the bit to 48k.
Downloaded new logitech hub drivers because I had still the logitech gaming software installed.
When watching DVDs I have no problems, problems setting up a/v receiver to in-ceiling speakers, 7.1 surround headset volume low when driver is installed.
